These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of www.querismabeautystudio.com and any services you book with Querisma Beauty Studio ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or booking an appointment, you agree to these Terms.

1. Booking Appointments

Appointments may be requested through the Site, by phone, or by message. A booking is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation from us. You agree to provide accurate contact information and an honest description of your hair history, including previous color, relaxers, keratin or smoothing treatments, extensions, and any known allergies or sensitivities. Inaccurate information may affect your results or safety, and we may adjust or decline a service as a result.

Because service times depend on hair length, density, texture, and condition, the time quoted at booking is an estimate. Please book the service level that most accurately matches your needs. If your hair requires more time or product than the service you booked, we will discuss it with you and adjust the price before proceeding.

2. Deposits and Payment

All services require a non-refundable deposit of 20 percent of the booked service total to hold your time. The deposit is applied toward your final service total. The remaining balance is due at the end of your appointment. We accept cash, credit cards, Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, and Zelle. A gratuity is appreciated but never required.

Prices listed on the Site are starting prices and may vary based on hair length, thickness, texture, product usage, and complexity. We may change our prices at any time; the price confirmed at your consultation applies to your appointment.

3. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and No-Shows

Your appointment reserves time that cannot easily be filled on short notice. Please review the following:

  • Cancellations or rescheduling require at least 48 hours' notice. Deposits are forfeited for cancellations made with less notice, and a deposit may be applied to one rescheduled appointment if notice is given in time.

  • Late cancellations and no-shows forfeit the deposit and are charged a $50 fee. Repeated no-shows may result in a requirement to prepay in full or in our declining future bookings.

  • Late arrivals. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may shorten your service, reschedule you, or treat the appointment as a no-show, depending on the schedule.

  • Emergencies. We understand genuine emergencies happen and will consider them case by case, at our sole discretion.

4. Consultations, Patch Tests, and Health Information

A consultation is part of every service. We may recommend, or require, a patch or strand test before certain color or chemical services, and we may decline or modify a service if we believe it is unsafe for your hair, scalp, or skin. If you have an allergic reaction history, are pregnant, are undergoing medical treatment, or have a scalp condition, tell us before your appointment. You are responsible for informing us of any health concerns that may affect your service. We are not medical professionals and our services do not diagnose or treat medical conditions.

5. Results and Satisfaction

Hair services depend on your hair's individual history, condition, and texture. While we use professional skill and care, we cannot guarantee a specific result, particularly for color corrections, significant lightening, chemically treated hair, or hair in compromised condition. We may recommend multiple sessions to reach your goal safely.

If you are not satisfied with your service, please contact us within 7 days of your appointment so we can discuss an adjustment. Adjustments are offered at our discretion, must be scheduled in advance, and are not available for changes in style preference after the fact or for damage from home care that did not follow our recommendations. Refunds are not generally provided for completed services.

6. Extensions and Specialty Services

For beaded sew-in extensions, braids, and similar services, hair supplied by us is non-refundable once installed. If you bring your own hair or product, we cannot guarantee its quality or the result, and we reserve the right to decline to use items we believe are unsuitable. Aftercare instructions will be provided and should be followed. Maintenance or removal appointments are charged separately.

7. Gift Cards and Packages

Gift cards do not expire, are not redeemable for cash, and are not replaceable if lost or stolen. Packages and prepaid services are non-refundable and non-transferable unless required by law.

8. Photos and Media

We may photograph your hair for our records. We will not publish images that identify you without your consent (see our Privacy Policy). If you consent, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the images for marketing and educational purposes, and you may withdraw consent for future use at any time by contacting us.

9. Client Conduct

We maintain a respectful, safe environment for everyone. We may end an appointment and require payment for services performed if a client is abusive, intoxicated, or behaves in a manner that makes it unsafe for us or other guests to continue. Please do not bring additional guests, children, or pets to your appointment unless we have agreed in advance.

10. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to interfere with its operation, access areas you are not authorized to use, or copy or reuse our content without permission. All text, photographs, logos, and designs on the Site belong to us or are used with permission and are protected by intellectual property laws. Product recommendations on the Site may include affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, Querisma Beauty Studio and its owner will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or our services, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the service at issue. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including for gross negligence or willful misconduct.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Querisma Beauty Studio from claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your breach of these Terms or from inaccurate or incomplete information you provide about your health or hair history.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern informally.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted to the Site with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site or booking of services after changes means you accept them.

15. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts stay in effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site and your booking.
